I coach our Big Lake Community Education classes, Pre-School through High School, as well as coaching our competitive Xcel team. I am also Head Coach of the Big Lake HS Gymnastics team. Our HS team has been very successful, winning State in 2020 and taking 3rd last season. This past season we also had the State Uneven Bar Champion, Lola Visci. I’ve been involved in athletics my entire life and I’ve coached gymnastics for 20 plus years. I try to install a positive attitude and growth mindset in all of my athletes. Attitude and effort are two things we can always be in control of. I enjoy seeing the kids overcome obstacles, set goals and gain confidence in themselves. I love being involved in the community I live in and making an impact on the lives of the kids who live and go to school here. My girlfriend’s name is Amy and we have been together for almost 4 years. She has a son named Jackson who is 12. I enjoy watching birds, playing softball and hanging out at the beach – anything outdoors except during the winter!! I grew up in Champlin and went to Champlin Park HS.
