Tell us a little about your family – parents, siblings, pets, etc.
My mom and dad are Angie and Doug. I have two older brothers who are two and four years older than me. I have one dog named Obi.

What are some of your hobbies and/or interests?
In my free time I love to crochet, play piano, and watch movies. My favorite way to spend my time outside of school is at my studio, dancing and practicing my ballet and pointe dances.

Tell us about a favorite school memory (any grade)
My favorite school memory was creating a dance with my friend Natalie for the dancing unit in gym class.
Tells us about a favorite teacher, coach, school staff member, etc. who made a difference in your life/education (can include more than one and any grade).
My favorite teacher is Mr. Czech because I love all of the classes he teaches and he always is supportive of when I try something new, even when it’s not necessarily going the best.
What has been your favorite subject to study in school and why?
My favorite subject to study in school was chemistry because I found the subject matter super interesting. I also enjoyed the challenge of learning about something new.
What has been the most challenging part of senior year for you?
The most challenging part of senior year for me has been facing the fact that I’m not going to be seeing all of my friends as much next year.

What has been the best part of senior year?
The best part of senior year has been all of the different art classes I’ve gotten to take this year.
Have you made any plans for after graduation (additional schooling, work, etc.) and if so, what are they?
Next year I plan on attending University of Minnesota Duluth to pursue a degree in Biology.
Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years? What goals do you have for the future?
In the future I see myself starting graduate school, pursuing dentistry. My goal for my future is to be happy and enjoying my life.

Tell us a one or two dreams/bucket list items you have for yourself
One item I have on my bucket list is to go to Alaska and see the northern lights.
Are there any classmates who made a positive difference in your life/education that you would like to mention?
I would like to mention one of my friends, Theo Young. They have been my best friend since third grade and really have shown me recently that it’s okay to take a step back from life, relax, and enjoy the little moments that life has to offer.
What are some things you like about our city of Big Lake in general?
I really like the Big Lake beach, it’s always been a great place to hang out with my friends or family. There’s always a ton of community events and other fun things going on there.
What Big Lake establishments/businesses/restaurants are your favorites?
One of my favorite restaurants in Big Lake is Cambo Flare, they always have delicious food and fun drinks to try. I also personally love Ember Coffee, they have a very relaxing atmosphere and great drinks, coffee or not.
What advice would you give younger students as they continue their education?
My advice would be to take it slow, take all the fun classes you can, and enjoy all the little, happy moments in life.
