Tell us a little about your family – parents, siblings, pets, etc.
My mom and my dad are my biggest supporters! They are always there for me. My mom is the smartest person I know and my dad always knows how to make me laugh. My brother and I are best friends and we are always laughing together. We lost our dog of 11 years in April, Jerry! He was the cutest thing! My family means everything to me and I’m so glad I have them!

What are some of your hobbies and/or interests?
You will always catch me at my dance studio in Monticello. I’ve been dancing my whole life and it’s my biggest passion! I also enjoy shopping a lot.

Tell us about a favorite school memory (any grade)
The best part of school has definitely been my senior year so far. My friends and I have been doing something new every day.

Tells us about a favorite teacher, coach, school staff member, etc. who made a difference in your life/education (can include more than one and any grade).
Mrs. Koehler is a favorite teacher. She puts in so much effort to her lessons and teaching and she does an amazing job. She’s so nice and genuinely cares about every student. It’s impossible to be sad in her class.
What has been your favorite subject to study in school and why?
I enjoy History because it interests me, plus I love Spanny and Koehler.
What has been the most challenging part of senior year for you?
The most challenging part of senior year has been trying to figure out my plans for the future and keeping up with school at the same time.
What has been the best part of senior year?
The best part of senior year is that I get to hangout with my friends every day and we are always having fun.
Have you made any plans for after graduation (additional schooling, work, etc.) and if so, what are they?
After high school I’m attending Minnesota State University Mankato and majoring in dance.
Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years? What goals do you have for the future?
I hope to be dancing or teaching at a good studio. I hope to be married with kids and lots of dogs.

One dream I have is that I want to be on Broadway.

What are some things you like about our city of Big Lake in general?
I like how I always feel safe here, the police of Big Lake are also great.
What Big Lake establishments/businesses/restaurants are your favorites?
Kwik Trip, duh!
What advice would you give younger students as they continue their education?
Don’t worry about what everyone thinks of you, it doesn’t matter. Just be yourself, make smart decisions and don’t procrastinate.
