Tell us a little about your family – parents, siblings, pets, etc.
My parents, Brad and Kelly have been my biggest support system, as well as my older sister, Addy, and younger, Macy. My sisters are my best friends.

What are some of your hobbies and/or interests?
I am in softball year round and love spending time with my friends.

Tell us about a favorite school memory (any grade)

Football games, especially my junior year!

Tells us about a favorite teacher, coach, school staff member, etc. who made a difference in your life/education (can include more than one and any grade).
Mr. Czech, he has always showed how much he cares for his students. Most teachers just go through their days, not really trying to get to know their students, but you can tell Mr. Czech makes it a priority to know his students and make them feel welcomed/heard.

What has been your favorite subject to study in school and why?
I’ve always liked science classes, ever since a young age I’ve loved doing experiments and just messing around and that’s kind of what science is about.

What has been the most challenging part of senior year for you?
The thought of my friends and I moving away. One of my best friends is going to college in Florida, the thought of that makes me sad, but also excited for this opportunity she has!

What has been the best part of senior year?
Strengthening relationships with some of my friends.

Have you made any plans for after graduation (additional schooling, work, etc.) and if so, what are they?
I am going to Concordia St. Paul to play collegiate softball and major in Physical Therapy.

Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years? What goals do you have for the future?
Hopefully as a physical therapist and have a house of my own in a warmer state.

Tell us a one or two dreams/bucket list items you have for yourself
I want to explore the world, especially visit my friend, Cecilia, who was a foreign exchange student last year here in Big Lake. I want to also make a difference in peoples lives, of course that sounds a bit cliche but it’s the truth.

Are there any classmates who made a positive difference in your life/education that you would like to mention?
I regret not getting to know some of my classmates better. They all still managed to shape me into the person I am today, and I am forever grateful for the entire class of 2023.

What are some things you like about our city of Big Lake in general?
I like how Big Lake is a small town. No matter where you go there’s almost a certainty you will recognize someone.

What Big Lake establishments/businesses/restaurants are your favorites?
I really like the restaurant Trails, definitely recommend trying the buffalo chicken salad.

What advice would you give younger students as they continue their education?
To get to know as many people you can, to take chances, and tell people you love them and are grateful for them because you never know when you get the chance to again.
