Tell us a little about your family – parents, siblings, pets, etc.
I am the middle child of two brothers, one is in college and the other is a freshman. We also have two dogs and cat.

What are some of your hobbies and/or interests?
I enjoy running, crocheting, comp cheer, and cooking.

Tell us about a favorite school memory (any grade)
A favorite school memory would be planning and decorating for prom my junior year.

Tells us about a favorite teacher, coach, school staff member, etc. who made a difference in your life/education (can include more than one and any grade).
My favorite teacher was Mrs. Solomonson, who was always so patient and kind towards her students. My favorite coach was Derek, who was my cheer coach for senior year. He offered me and the team continuous support. and pushed us to be the best we could possibly be.

What has been your favorite subject to study in school and why?
My favorite subject is Science. I especially enjoy chemistry because of the labs we got to participate in.

What has been the most challenging part of senior year for you?
The most challenging part of senior year was trying to balance between focusing on high school classes and focusing on preparing everything for college.

What has been the best part of senior year?
The best part of my senior year is seeing where all of my friends are choosing to continue their education and what they want to move on to.

Have you made any plans for after graduation (additional schooling, work, etc.) and if so, what are they?
I will be attending St. Catherine University for their doctorate program in physical therapy.

Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years? What goals do you have for the future?
I see myself out of school and working in physical therapy. I hope to work towards a job at Children’s Minnesota in St Paul.

Tell us a one or two dreams/bucket list items you have for yourself
I want to travel throughout Europe and run a marathon!

Are there any classmates who made a positive difference in your life/education that you would like to mention?
I want to mention Lilly St. Jean. She is one of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure of knowing because she is kind and accepting towards everyone she meets.

What are some things you like about our city of Big Lake in general?
I like how close knit the community is and it’s easy to get to know the people who work and live here.

What Big Lake establishments/businesses/restaurants are your favorites?
I would say Kwik Trip is my favorite business because I know most of employees and they are always so kind. My favorite restaurant would be Third Rail Bar and Grill because they have an amazing soft pretzel!

What advice would you give younger students as they continue their education?
Make sure you prioritize your education, but allow yourself time for fun and making memories as you are only in high school once.
