My name is Cindy Peters. For the past 13 years I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in special education at Big Lake Middle School, in Big Lake, Minnesota. I also am a Designated Manager for Chez Nous, a company that serves adults with developmental disabilities who live in a group home in St. Paul, Minnesota. I have been there since May of 1990. I enjoy the work I do and being with the students at school and the clients at the group home. Both jobs are very rewarding. As you can tell I am the type of person who has a hard time sitting still and is usually doing something like folding laundry or working on the computer, while I am watching TV. I live with my husband Timothy and our two dogs, Sid and Sadie. We live close to Clear Lake/Clearwater and have lived there since January of 1994.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am married to a wonderful man, Timothy Peters. We will celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary in June. We were not lucky enough to have children but have had several dogs over the years.
