Tell us a little about your family – parents, siblings, pets, etc.
Paul and Dionne are my parents and I have 2 older brothers and 2 other sisters. We have 3 dogs in the house, Daisy, Lucy, and Luke. I am the last of my siblings to graduate.

What are some of your hobbies and/or interests?
I really love playing instruments, mostly guitar. I enjoy painting and drawing from time to time. Also music is something I enjoy listening to and analyzing what the artists are trying to say in every song.

Tell us about a favorite school memory (any grade)
One of my favorite school memories has to be when we won state, in 2019, for gymnastics.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tells us about a favorite teacher, coach, school staff member, etc. who made a difference in your life/education (can include more than one and any grade).
One of my favorite teacher is Mrs.Welle. She and I were like mother and daughter. She always knew how to make me laugh and she always let me cry on her shoulder. She actually listened when I was talking to her and she always gave me the best advice.

What has been your favorite subject to study in school and why?
I enjoy anything science related. I’ve always had a love for solving problems and puzzles and science is a lot like that. I also think figuring out why something happened is very cool.

What has been the most challenging part of senior year for you?
I think one of the most challenging parts of senior year has been the home work, but overall that’s not too much of a challenge for me.

What has been the best part of senior year?
The best part of senior year for me was the Senior Sunrise at the beginning of the year.

Have you made any plans for after graduation (additional schooling, work, etc.) and if so, what are they?
Yes, I plan on going to Hamline University -the Pipers- to major in Criminal Justice and minor in Psychology. I will also being doing Gymnastics, as well as Diving while I’m at Hamline.

Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years? What goals do you have for the future?
In 10 years, I hope to be somewhere in law enforcement, and/or to be an investigator/ profiler.

Tell us a one or two dreams/bucket list items you have for yourself
One thing on my bucket list is I really just want to go snowboarding and also sky diving.

Are there any classmates who made a positive difference in your life/education that you would like to mention?
Emily LeMire has been my best friend for 11 years now. She has always been by my side and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her. She loves to call me at random times just to see what I’m doing.

What are some things you like about our city of Big Lake in general?
What I like the most is probably the beach here in Big Lake.

What Big Lake establishments/businesses/restaurants are your favorites?
A couple favorites for me are McDonald’s and for sure McPetes.

What advice would you give younger students as they continue their education?
Don’t procrastinate on your work and don’t wait to do your homework until the last minute!
