Share a favorite school memory from any grade.
One of my favorite memories from school was getting the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the Excel Energy Center. We got to go down below the stadium and perform on the ice. It was for the State Wrestling Tournament this year so the ice was covered with matts and the stadium seats were packed!

Tell us about a favorite teacher, coach, or staff member who had influence in your life/education.
I actually have two teachers that have significantly influenced my life: Mrs. Jennifer Schulte served as my sophomore english teacher, my Junior year AP English Teacher, and now serves as a good friend as I have been her Teacher Assistant all year. She is joyful, caring, and has helped me grow as a person and a writer. My second teacher is Ms. Brie Hawkins who has been my choir teacher for the past two years. Ms. Hawkins has allowed me to develop as a confident singer and has additionally instilled within me a passion for music.

What was your favorite subject to study in school and why?
History has always been my favorite subject and this is due to the influence of my father. My dad has a passion for history and I grew up listening to his lessons about various historical events. Because of this, we have visited all kinds of battlefields and memorials from American history across many different states. The most memorable was the Gettysburg battlefield in Pennsylvania as we have a Robertson plaque located there as tribute to our ancestor who fought as a general in the battle.

I am always excited to see my family, my boyfriend Kaysen, and my friends Carter, Hannah, Kaycie, Sydnie, and Raina. They make me smile everyday and make the long drive everyday worth it.

In 10 years, I imagine myself married and working with children in a hospital!

What is something (or things) you like about living in, and going to school in, Big Lake?
I really like the community of Big Lake. Everyone is super friendly to each other and this is noticeable through the interactions both on social media and out in public.

Where are your favorite places to eat, hang out, shop, etc. in Big Lake?
My favorite place to eat is Lake Cafe. It provides such a homestyle feel inside and the employees that work there are so sweet and nice! I also really enjoy having both a sit-in Caribou and a drive-thru Caribou because this allows for the possibility of a coffee stop regardless of how much time you have.
