Born and raised in Big Lake. I’ve been a member of the Big Lake Fire Department for 29 years. I enjoy fishing and hunting and the outdoors. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have a wife and two boys. The boys keep me busy!
Q: How long have you lived and/or worked in Big Lake?
I have lived here my whole life.
Q: Tell us about your current, past, or future career.
Currently, I am on the big Lake Fire Department and a mechanic for a construction company.
Q: Have you ever had a nickname? What is it and why were you given it?
My parents called me Rooster for some reason.
Q: What is your favorite TV Show, Movie, Book? (Please list as many as you’d like!)
Football, UFC, and comedy shows
Q: If you could only eat one food/meal and have one beverage for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Having Jack and Jim’s in my backyard would work! Coors Light because my late brother-in-law got me hooked on it.
Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies or pastimes?
Fishing , hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
Q: What is one thing on your bucket list?
Visit Ground Zero.
Q: What would you buy/do if you won the lottery?
A lot of land and build a house with a maid!
Q: What has been a challenge you have had to overcome? (Life, School, Work, etc.)
Life brings many challenges. I look at it as – You’re climbing the hill and you get to the top, you have overcome it
Q: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I wouldn’t change anything. You bring your own destiny.
Q: Who has been a hero in your life?
To many to list but my family have been big heroes in my life.
Q: What is something even your family and friends may not know about you?
No, I don’t think so. I am who I am.
Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?
Raising a wonderful family.

Lake Cafe, Tootsies, and Dairy Queen
