Tell us a little about your family – parents, siblings, pets, etc.
I recon its pretty normal, parents divorced during Covid 19, so its just been me, my dad, and my now sister. My mom resides in Wisconsin, with her boyfriend, Aaron and their comically dumb dog, Loki . It was a pretty clean divorce, no long court battle, no fighting, etc . Other than that, my family is spread out around the state. We are pretty normal I guess :D!
What are some of your favorite hobbies, activities, sports, interests?
I love Warhammer! Specifically the sci-fi half, 40k, mainly painting the miniatures. I am an Eagle Scout and was in the BSA until I aged out late last year :D!
Share a favorite school memory from any grade.
I have lots to choose from , but I think I have to go with the “teacher he cheesed me” incident . Let me set the scene , we are at the middle school lunch table , left back corner , near the door . Me , Grady , Willow , Ash , Az , and Mud are all sat at the table. It is spaghetti day so there’s some parmesan available near the end of the lunch line . Most of us grab one scoop for our school pasta , but Grady , he grabs a chunk of cheese that was frozen together , and we all go sit down . At the table in front of us there was a group of girls that were kind of picking on our table , so our resident madman , Grady , grabs the roughly elipsoid ball of cheese , and goes over to that table , and starts rubbiong the side of the cheese ball , which makes the cheese rain on their table . They then go tell the teachers on us , while we laugh and laugh . While the teacher was heading over , one of us , I think Ash, said in a really high pitched voice ” Teeeacher! He cheesed me!” and thus was coined the worst catchphrase of any group of friends ever .
Tell us about a favorite teacher, coach, or staff member who had influence in your life/education.
Miss Glover , she has inspired me to take the path I am in life. I’m going into mass communications and broadcasting thanks to her .
What was your favorite subject to study in school and why?
It was always social studies. I love history and learning about government . I don’t exactly know why , I’ve just always been a big nerd . Yes, I wear glasses why do you ask ? 😛
Who are you always happy to see and why are you happy to see them?
My friends. I cant boil it down to just one . They are a fun bunch! We work well together :D!
What are your plans for after graduation (school, travel, work, etc.)?
Get into St. Cloud State for mass communications and journalism , work a summer at a summer camp , and if I don’t get in this year , work for a year .
What advice do you have for incoming freshman as they start the high school adventure?
The teachers are way more chill than they tell you .
What has been the highlight of your senior year?
I have a good 3rd of it left , buuut I think it would be joining a Minecraft server with a few friends .
Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?
Still hanging out with my buds and playing a 3 decade or so old game .
Is there anything you wish you could go back and change?
Getting online more. I was super sheltered and I missed out on the good time of the internet :P!

What is something (or things) you like about living in, and going to school in, Big Lake?
All my friends are here , otherwise it’s like most small town schools. I do like the ampatheatre and the lake is fun to hang at when I’m not at school .
Where are your favorite places to eat, hang out, shop, etc. in Big Lake?
The strip mall near Coborns because it has Coborns , Caribou , #1 China . Otherwise I hang out at friends’ places and they have sworn me to secrecy regarding their addresses . The town could use a good gathering place like a mall for when we can’t be at the lake . I suppose we have a library , but we need more 3rd places .
