I have had so many amazing teachers that it’s so hard to choose but I’ll name a few; Mr. Haley, Profe Nelson, Mrs. Braasch, Mr. Wannebo, Mrs. Rotter, and Mrs. Larsen. They have had such a strong impact on my life and I could never thank them enough.

What has been your favorite subject to study in school and why?
My favorite subject is choir, it was just been my break in the day every year and is almost always the highlight of my day.

What has been the most challenging part of senior year for you?
The most challenging part of my senior year was when the school cheer team got disassembled and I didn’t think I was going to have a senior cheer season.

What has been the best part of senior year?
The best part of my senior year has been working in ECFE, it has given me so many amazing opportunities that I wouldn’t have experienced otherwise.

I plan to attend St. Scholastica and major in Elementary Education, minoring in either Special Education or Psychology.

Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years? What goals do you have for the future?
In five years I hope to be graduated from college and have started my teaching career, in ten years I hope to be a foster parent. I hope to continue coaching cheerleading for awhile yet and hope that is still a part of my life in the far future.

A couple of my dreams are to travel, I really hope to attend a lantern festival at some point in my life as I love Tangled.

Are there any classmates who made a positive difference in your life/education that you would like to mention?
I don’t want to leave anyone out so I’m not going to name anyone specific but they know who they are. Most all of you are younger then me and therefore I will have to leave you physically within the next couple of months but you have all made such a huge impact on my life, I could never thank you enough.

What are some things you like about our city of Big Lake in general?
Something I like about Big Lake are the teachers and that it was easy to be able to form relationships with them.

What Big Lake establishments/businesses/restaurants are your favorites?
A few of my favorite businesses in Big Lake are Ember Coffee, PS I love you Occasionally, and Two Cute Boutique to shop for my niece and upcoming niece or nephew.

What advice would you give younger students as they continue their education?
Remember to give people the benefit of the doubt and don’t get sucked into other peoples drama. It’s not worth it and causes you a lot of unnecessary stress in the long run.
