Tell us a little about your family – parents, siblings, pets, etc.
My parents Ray and Heather Anderson and I have 2 siblings, Tyler Anderson -17 and Alexis Anderson -11. I also have 2 Dogs, Rocco and Bubba

What are some of your hobbies and/or interests?
My Favorite thing in the world to do is fishing ! Especially Ice Fishing. I also like to go hunting, play baseball and football

Tell us about a favorite school memory (any grade)
Playing football during recess everyday with the boys during elementary school.

Tells us about a favorite teacher, coach, school staff member, etc. who made a difference in your life/education (can include more than one and any grade).
My favorite teacher is Mr. Gindele as he made math fun! Coach Blanchard also helped make an impact on my life the past 4 years, to never give up when things are hard and to not quit on something you love.

What has been your favorite subject to study in school and why?
History, as it has been fun learning about history in America and the world.

What has been the most challenging part of senior year for you?
The most challenging part is knowing that there is a big change coming that school is coming to an end and the anxiety of the unknown

What has been the best part of senior year?
The best part has been having an easy schedule and being able to enjoy all the moments that come with senior year.

Have you made any plans for after graduation (additional schooling, work, etc.) and if so, what are they?
Yes, I plan on going to MN North College in Ely, MN to study Fisheries and Wildlife management.

Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years? What goals do you have for the future?
Graduating from college with my degree and a great, stable job with a focus on fisheries department. I also would like to buy a house -debt free.

Tell us a one or two dreams/bucket list items you have for yourself
I would really like to go skydiving and to go deep sea fishing and catch a monster fish.

What are some things you like about our city of Big Lake in general?
I like that it’s a small town, close to the lakes and friendly people.

What Big Lake establishments/businesses/restaurants are your favorites?
Ultra Metal Finishing, McPetes, and Willy’s on the Water

What advice would you give younger students as they continue their education?
Work Hard, get involved in sports and support each other.
