Tell us a little about your family – parents, siblings, pets, etc.
I live with my mom, Kelly; dad, JJ; younger sister, Jacey who is 11; and dog, Kia. My family and I have been living in Big Lake since 2005.
What are some of your favorite hobbies, activities, sports, interests?
I play soccer and basketball, and my hobbies are hanging out with friends.
Share a favorite school memory from any grade.
My favorite memory is gong to the zoo on a field trip in elementary school.
Tell us about a favorite teacher, coach, or staff member who had influence in your life/education.
Mr. Froiland’s human anatomy class influenced my interest in studying exercise science in college.
What was your favorite subject to study in school and why?
Human anatomy is my favorite subject because I enjoy learning how the body works.
Who are you always happy to see and why are you happy to see them?
I am happy to see my dog, Kia, because she always wags her tail and gets excited when I come home from school.
What are your plans for after graduation (school, travel, work, etc.)?
I plan to attend University of Mary in Bismark, ND where I will play soccer and study exercise science.
What advice do you have for incoming freshman as they start the high school adventure?
Getting good grades are important.
What has been the highlight of your senior year?
Defeating Monticello in a shoot-out in the High School Girls Soccer Section Tournament. It was the second time in school history that we beat Monticello and the first time in school history that we defeated them in the section tournament to advance to the semi-finals.
Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?
Getting settled in my career as a Physical Therapist.
Is there anything you wish you could go back and change?
I would like to go back and tell myself to be more present in the moment during my time in high school because it goes by so fast.

I am grateful for the support from my family and friends.

What is something (or things) you like about living in, and going to school in, Big Lake?
I like living in a small town and going to a school where you know everyone.
Where are your favorite places to eat, hang out, shop, etc. in Big Lake?
I like eating at Willy’s on the Water, going to Caribou, and Grind Nutrition.
