Tell us a little about your family – parents, siblings, pets, etc.
I live with my parents and two sisters. Maddie is my older sister and Ashley is my younger sister. I have a dog and two cats. Ace is a black lab, I have a black cat named Puma and the other cat is Cria. Cria is Maddie’s cat.

What are some of your favorite hobbies, activities, sports, interests?
I’ve played basketball, softball, and tennis. Softball and tennis have been my favorite sports.

Share a favorite school memory from any grade.
Any memory from playing tennis is a good memory for me. I never saw myself playing tennis until my best friend forced me to join with her. I thought I was going to hate it but I had so much fun. The banquets after the season were probably the best moments.

Tell us about a favorite teacher, coach, or staff member who had influence in your life/education.
I think the teacher that had the biggest influence on me was Mrs. Sandford. She was actually my coach for speed and strength along with her husband. They always made it so fun to be at speed and strength and were always making sure to push everyone.

What was your favorite subject to study in school and why?
I’ve never really had a favorite subject. I’ve always loved gym because I love staying active. English has always been pretty easy for me but it doesn’t interest me.

Who are you always happy to see and why are you happy to see them?
I am always happy to see my younger sister because she is my favorite person ever and always knows how to make me laugh.

What are your plans for after graduation (school, travel, work, etc.)?
I plan to go to Gustavus Adolphus for college and I’m not completely sure what I’m going to major in yet. I have been thinking about majoring in animal science and minoring in sports management. I am hoping to be a veterinarian after college.

What advice do you have for incoming freshman as they start the high school adventure?
I would say to just make sure you’re working hard while still making time to have fun.

What has been the highlight of your senior year?
Powderpuff has definitely been the highlight of my senior year. I had so much fun playing my junior year so I knew I had to do it my senior year and I will never regret doing it. It was one of the best experiences ever.

Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?
I imagine myself being successful, living in an apartment, graduated from college, and working with animals.

Is there anything you wish you could go back and change?
I wouldn’t go back and change anything because I think it’s important to learn from things. I wouldn’t be who I am now if I went back and changed something.

What are you most grateful for?
I’m most grateful for my cat, Puma, because he always makes me feel better no matter what.

Tell us 3 words that describe you now.
Athletic, loyal, and hardworking

What is something (or things) you like about living in, and going to school in, Big Lake?
I live in a neighborhood where I know a lot of the people so during the summer I have a lot of fun driving the golf cart around and picking everyone up. I’m pretty much a taxi driver for everyone in my neighborhood but at least that makes going to school in the morning better. I like that Big Lake has the option for online and OJT so kids are able to leave early from school.

Where are your favorite places to eat, hang out, shop, etc. in Big Lake?
My family and I love going to McPetes because we always have the best time there. I’ll also stop at Mcdonald’s with my family here and there. Most of the time I just drive my sister where she wants to go, like, Dairy Queen for a blizzard.
