Tell us a little about your family – parents, siblings, pets, etc.
I live at home with my two parents, one brother, who visits from college from time to time, and another younger brother, my younger sister, and my dog, Crosby

What are some of your favorite hobbies, activities, sports, interests?
I like to run cross country and track, play basketball, watch movies, and hate on professional sports teams. I am a Naz Reid enthusiast and an extremely average frisbee golfer.

Share a favorite school memory from any grade.
A favorite memory from school for me would be in tenth grade when I had paper football wars against a few other classmates and I came out with the victory.

Tell us about a favorite teacher, coach, or staff member who had influence in your life/education.
One of my favorite teachers was Mr. Bolts 6th grade science class and getting to do fun experiments in his class.

What was your favorite subject to study in school and why?
My favorite subject to study in school has to be science. I’ve always liked to learn more about how the world works. From just the basic science that we learned in 9th grade, to biology in 10th grade when we learned about the living stuff on our earth, and now I take chemistry and, I somewhat, enjoy learning what things are made up of and how they work around us.

Who are you always happy to see and why are you happy to see them?
I am always happy to see my family after sporting events because of the support they have always shown me during them.

What are your plans for after graduation (school, travel, work, etc.)?
My plans after graduation are to attend UW-La Crosse and study Biochemistry while being apart of the cross country and track teams there. After college is still unknown but hopefully I will get to work with something related to Biochemistry.

What advice do you have for incoming freshman as they start the high school adventure?
Don’t take this the wrong way but nothing matters and no one cares. Work hard, be a good person, but have fun with life – that’s why its called living.

What has been the highlight of your senior year?
The highlight of my senior year so far would probably be the basketball season as a whole. I really enjoyed my last year and just everything that it brought with it.

Where do you imagine yourself 10 years from now?
In ten years I imagine myself hopefully with a family, a job, and hopefully still pursuing some level of running.

Is there anything you wish you could go back and change?
I mean yeah, there’s a crap ton of things. But I needed to make mistakes to learn so if I could back and change anything, I wouldn’t, because I needed to learn the hard way.

What are you most grateful for?
I most grateful for second chances

Tell us 3 words that describe you now.Hopeful, Happy, Humorous

What is something (or things) you like about living in, and going to school in, Big Lake?
Something that I like about going to Big Lake is that the town is big enough that you are still provided opportunities to do things and it’s close enough to the cities that you can do activities there.

Where are your favorite places to eat, hang out, shop, etc. in Big Lake?
My favorite place to eat in Big Lake is by far Kwik Trip, they take so much of my money.  As a restaurant Willy’s is a very good option also. I often visit the Wildlife Refuge trails, Blue Hill, and Wildlife Drive. That isn’t technically in Big Lake but it’s close enough.
